Welcome. We are Valiant Defenders on Fi refoot server. We do not believe that this is "just" a game. As corny as it sounds, we play the game to make friends. And we're too busy playing to sit on the site much. Even though updates are few, I check it regularly.

We believe in sharing, hence, VD!

 

This is the only page on the site (as of 2/22/10) that you have to read in it's entirety before applying.

 

If you wish to apply, please fill out the link to the left. If the username you want is taken, try adding some numbers or something.

When it asks for a "Launch Code" just ignore that and do the other parts of the page.

The rules look long, but are easy to understand and follow. Also, I was in a bit of a bad mood when I wrote most of this, but I am currently too lazy to reword it, so read this in a sarcastic but not mean tone.

  • First off, you must be an adult. We have some mature/dirty humor in our Kin, but people have to know when to change topics. Even if you are over 18, you must be mature.

  • Second, no jerks. I don't mind a little sarcasm and teasing, but you must get along with your kinmates. If you can't workout your problems on your own, try asking for someone to mediate.

  • We expect honesty in our kin, even if it is veiled heavily in sarcasm…

  • Do not beg, we are not here to give you stuff. If someone makes you something, it is courtesy to give them compensation, usually in the form of materials used rather than money.

  • Please update your notes to say if your character is an alt or a main. It’s how we keep track of people. Alts are welcomed and encouraged to join, but we want your kin notes to say “Main” or “Alt of ____” even if by "Main" you only mean main in this kin.

  • If you have constructive criticism, please speak up. If you are unsure of how it will be received, it is ok to have someone else in kin relay it for you.

  • Activity: We ask that members log in once a month, or be bumped to recruit status (until you log in again). Also, in general, after 90 days inactivity (without letting us know you will be gone for such a long time) people will be removed from kin.

  • If for any reason you leave kin, please let Nusnogard/Emilsnogard/Evolnogard know why via mail or PM, we would really appreciate it.

  • Be polite. – Say hello/goodbye when people are logging on/off. Try to acknowledge questions asked if no one answers – Hearing I don’t know is better than feeling ignored.

  • Don’t buy gold or powerlevelling services. You will get reported if you do.

  • We accept all races and classes, but some get picked on more than others.
  • Items from the kin auctions or kin house vaults are for your use only, and only for alts in kin. If the character is not wearing the Valiant Defenders tag, they may not have the item. This means no selling the items to non-kin. You may, however, craft an item from the items obtained and sell that instead. Preferably not ores-to-ingots sort of thing though, but a finished item.
